The first edition of the campaign took place in 2007 in Sydney and attracted around 2.2 million participants. Every year, WWF Earth Hour is celebrated on the last Saturday of March.
\nWe, too, are joining the Earth Hour campaign. In addition to symbolically switching off the lights, we make a daily effort to use natural resources and electricity in a sustainable way.
\nEvery day we recycle e-waste, protecting the environment from the disastrous effects of the release of toxins from electronic waste into the ground. We also process e-waste using our own electricity, which we produce for our needs. The roof of the Ecoport plant houses a PV power plant that produces clean renewable energy.<\/p>\n
